Numerous people are posting Merge Requests on Salsa. Please help review them!

Could we do the same for BTS patches?

There are ~5000 patches that have been sitting in the BTS for years, some trivial (examples from my own: [1,2]), others less so. Most of the time they are in the BTS because the associated packages have no Git/salsa repo.

These BTS-only patches are, in my opinion, even more in need of being swiftly reviewed and merged (or closed/wontfix) because they do not have the same kind of guardrails a repo on Salsa offers (showing conflicting changes when the patches files change, pipelines and tests, etc).
