Back at DebConf12 in Nicaragua, it was not recommended to go out of the campus
alone (especially not at night). So when I have needed help of locals to go
find a pharmacy, I was driven there (many thanks to them!). I expect some .ch
locals to have cars in LeCamp and be happy to provide similar service to
anyone needing it. I think we should assume good-faith and willingness to
serve from the team to get around these constraints.

Besides that, LeCamp has hourly busses to a big (for .ch standards) city,
Yverdon-les-Bains.

That's why you need to rely on local team members, including (at least partly)
trusting their judgment. We went several times to LeCamp and we got convinced
from the first visit there in November 2011 (yes, one year ago [0]) that we
could have nice talk rooms, more than enough hacklabs and good internet there.

Now, one year after, the rooms (and lecamp.ch website) haven't changed.

We planned talk rooms to be:
 * Big talk room in half of the upper floor of "Bâtiment principal" [1]
 * Smaller talk room in the upper floor of the "Rotonde" [2]
        (Both of them are wheelchair-accessible)
 * Main hacklab in the lower floor of the "Rotonde" [2]
 * Minor hacklabs in all the buildings that have space (most have verandas or
   living rooms, etc)

Internet was a concern when we visited LeCamp one year ago as they had only a
poor ADSL connection. Since then, they have installed (as they wanted to
accomodate our needs too) a fiber connection. They are currently installing
WiFi connections to all buildings. At the BSP we could already use that
internet connection. And we're 9 months ahead.

That said, I must say I'm really disappointed that the local team members have
to face such untrust. It's really hard to acknowledge and accept that we did
these investigation one year ago [0], that we are making them better over
time, and yet get mails from other team members that write in November 2012
that it is impossible to evaluate if talk rooms and hacklabs and Internet are
viable in LeCamp.

Please try to trust us, at least a little; that would help pushing that
project forward, as a team.
