What kind of shady operation is this, that they won't allow for such a change on an arrangement for which a contract hasn't even been signed yet? If we don't have solid prospects for securing the funding for a full two weeks of DebConf+DebCamp, we should be seriously considering consolidating the event to a single week. And if the venue is playing hardball and trying to force us to pay for 2 weeks when we haven't yet signed a contract, we should not sign that contract at all, because that's a sure sign that they're going to be even more difficult to work with once the ink is dry. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
