Yes. In my eyes, this would be a *very* good way to improve our
situation. Of course I am (and I guess we all are) more than willing
to share our camping spot with $otherconf during DebCamp, when we are
not stressed about 325 beds being too few.

Of course, it could be seen as "subletting" the venue - so its
legality should be checked with Le Camp's staff. But I would
completely agree.
