I can configure my nikons to backup to the second card but it slows the
system storage writes due to bulk and that spped is necessary for my
shootings.  so I do not dup images.

but for ~20 years I have deleted images from many memory cards w/o ever
sustaning a loss or corruption.  just lucky or my Irish is showing :)

my current library contains >300k images.
