Good morning,
I will ask a different question. Why are you moving the winches 12-18 inches from factory design? Assuming to align with a different set of rope clutches or are you adding a canvas structure and need more swing room for the handle?
I will tell you the one thing i miss about my 37+ was having the 4 cabin top winches. That let me adjust jib/main halyard as needed but also be able to load main sheet on another and have a spare for spinnaker or the like.
So, what i am getting at is have you entertained adding a second set since the cabin top is designed for it and the 33 had a version that incorporated that option?

The site I'm moving them to is a designated location by design and the coach top is round and flat in the new location to allow a winch placement. My question is, can I just fill the old holes with unthickened epoxy or ............ what would be recommended?thanks for your thoughtsWadeOh Boy, 33 MK 2
