Yes, if a bit structural ( like I did, replaced Barient 6 bolts with Lewmar EVO 5 bolts ), put tape underneat, fill with clear/liquid epoxy w/slow hardener so the balsa absorb some, then suck epoxy from the hole and then fill holes with a mix of epoxy/silica ). Pretty strong. If not structural at all I would just fill the holes with liquid/brushable gelcoat ( no epoxy to paint ). And if you cover the hole from the inside ( or even the top ) with some small piece of celluloid it willl be as shiny as new. Remember that gelcoat shrink a bit after it's hardened.. Sylvain

If you have a small syringe, you can inject the material which is a little bit easier. The site I'm moving them to is a designated location by design and the coach top is round and flat in the new location to allow a winch placement. My question is, can I just fill the old holes with unthickened epoxy or ............ what would be recommended? thanks for your thoughts WadeOh Boy, 33 MK 2Thanks to all of the subscribers that contributed to the list to help with the costs involved.
