Dave, If you are referring to my setup then I have 3:1 on the course adjust at the cabin top winch and jammer. Then I have the 4:1 which pulls on the end of the 3:1 at the traveller. The combined effect is 12:1. That's how it works and allows hand trimming of the mainsheet.
