I had my mast professionally rebuilt.  They sandblasted, primed, and
painted.  While it was out of the boat and all the fittings were removed, I
had them re-bed everything and rewire.  I also had a full re-rig with new
rod.  They used Awlcraft 2000 Pearl Grey.  The paint job ALONE was $3k.
