There are some possible belt and suspenders mods I haven’t decided if I want to add yet. The plotter could also feed the VHF and computer if the AIS failed, the actual GPS antenna unit can also feed those things even if the plotter is missing if I tap into the cable, and no autopilot feeds are in place yet since my autopilot won’t do that currently. I am looking forward to seeing how the $30 Wifi link works ☺ I am using some waterproof junction boxes from Amazon I got for a reasonable amount. I’ll post some photos or links of those soon.
