Joe and Joel, I have used ShipModul Miniplex2 for many years to send NMEA data from the chart plotter at the helm to MacENC to a Mac laptop using USB, but more recently using it to convert the NMEA to wifi so it can be sent to an iPad. I’ve been using iNavX on the iPad, but probably other software works as well. You connect the iPad to the Wifi name and then tell iNavX what host and port that the Miniplex is transmitting on. Explained clearly in the iNavX program. Seems to work very well.
