Charlie, I have the original aluminum dip pole and 2 sets of lines. Jake has a carbon pole for his 35/3 and does end for end.Getting the pole back on the mast in a blow could be a major accomplishment! If I had a new pole I'd be tempted to do end for end in light air and dip in heavy air, or use my asym and screw the pole completely.
