I was just guessing and agitating, I really don't know Rich all that well
but I can tell you that he was there to help me when I needed his
electronics knowledge.it's fair to say he is sort of a guru on that around
here.

 

Don't be scared to contribute and keep it light.I just was making the point
that before you rely on electronic gadgets to control your boat you need to
know how to do that on your own.Curtis has let us know that he is on a steep
learning curve with East Coast Lady and I applaud his desire to learn, but I
think it's a fool who relies on a wheel pilot to get his boat anywhere
safely, let alone unattended, which to me is what programed chart plotter or
gps controlled steering is all about.have a nap and let the electronics get
you there.is that really sailing???
