Josh. That's correct, you are talking about Diesel engines. The Atomic 4 is a gasoline engine with a simple throttle governing the carb throttle. Your lawn equipment likely will have a spring loaded air vane sitting in the air stream produced by the flywheel fan that will moderate the throttle butterfly according to load.
