Sam Salter says “I've got Spinlock clutches. I think they are the best on the market.”
Dwight Veinot says “I prefer Lewmar clutches.” My 1979 C&C 30 mk1 has Easy-Lock clutches: a triple on the starboard side, a double and a single on the port. I’ve been planning to replace them with 2 triples for the last 3 years, but I’m indecisive. I can buy Spinlock or Lewmar at The Binnacle or mail order Garhauer. I don’t see a lot of Garhauer products around here but I ordered 2 Garhauer snatch blocks last season and I like them a lot.
