Lazy jacks and slab reefing all done at the mast.

The lazy jacks are only used when dropping the main. The rest of the time they are hooked under the rams horns.
2 stainless rings connected by a very short piece of webbing through the luff cringle; leech reefing line led aft around a cheek block and forward along the boom through a cam cleat.

I've chartered boats with every conceivable reefing system. This is still the easiest, fastest and most effective way to reef your main.

Subject: Stus-List Main Reefing System

I will put a reefing system in for the loose-footed main on my 29-2 this spring.  Would appreciate any suggestions or plans from all you knowledgeable folks out there.
