Danny: My dad used to tell me to always buy the best tools or instruments I can't afford. It's been good advice. Boating is supposed to be fun and buying the least expensive gear will reduce the fun factor considerably. The Sitex is a pretty blunt instrument compared to the others you have been looking at. I suggest spending a bit more and increasing your enjoyment significantly. The cost differential spread over time is minimal.
