Rich,
While I’m very fond of my GMC diesel, the boat sounds a little more like a Cummins than anything else. Not like that’s a bad thing though… Jake From: cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com [mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com] On Behalf Of Rich Knowles Sent: Wednesday, September 19, 2012 7:22 PM To: cnc-list@cnc-list.com Subject: Re: Stus-List Yanmar question Jake, does it have that GMC diesel sound? It is fiberglass and should last the life of the boat. It is quiet, but has a nice warm note to it as well. It’s a mellow sound that is pleasing to my ear. I’ve run my engine without the muffler attached. It may smoke a little bit, but what’s worse is the salt spray that it throws everywhere. I don’t recommend it.
