I Never had a problem with upgrades that I have not had happen on vanilla
installs as well. Nobody will give you a guarantee that upgrades will not
break the system. Paid subscribers just get faster support. I've used the
forums a few times and was able to resolve things quite quickly. All of
their code appears to be GPL as well.
