I don't have specific numbers with me, but I think we can probably afford it - once, if we don't want to do anything else for the year.. :)
I'd like to see a hall or gym as well, but if we need to pay for this we'd only be able to do one Installfest a year. If we can find someone willing to donate such space, we'd be VERY happy.. :) We can always make arrangements with a local community center, or maybe even a school. But to do so before convergence (where we will be promoting the Installfest) might be short notice. We were looking at another location, but they want a few hundred for us to use the space. So now we're into a fallback position... Paul at VFXWeb has tentatively agreed to host us again, but they are a little concerned (as am I) about the number of people that may be attending. I'm guesstimating about 20 boxes for this one... Thanks for the input. Shawn (ps.
