Thank you Stu - much appreciated that Clojure/core are listening on
this and recognize the need for a change.

Anyone with decent writing skills (i.e., not me) who wants to use my
blog post as a basis for that, I'm happy to donate to the cause. The
only reason I haven't already edited that page to be a version of my
blog post is because I thought it might be controversial and upset
people if the Getting+Started page suddenly recommended Leiningen, a
REPL and simple text editing to get people up and running...

I'm happy to move / rewrite any of my blog posts over to the dev wiki
so resources are more centralized - if ppl think I have any posts of
valid to folks Getting+Started (perhaps my Clojure and SQL one,
focusing on clojure.java.jdbc?). I don't consider myself much of a
writer so I'd value any editorial assistance folks feel inclined to
give.
