The notoriety is severely reduced since the 'virus author' obviously
cannot advertise the fact. In any event, there just aren't enough non
Win32 machines in use to make any concerted attempt at creating an
appropriate virus. You might have noticed that there have been several
proof of concept trojans, designed for *nix systems, in circulation.
This has been reports on CERTS, and a few other forums that I frequent.

Nothing makes anyone more vulnerable than the belief that they are safe.
