I was initially skeptical that Xircom made a parallel port modem. Apparently they actually did, at least a combo Ethernet+Modem. Xircom's Pocket Ethernet+Modem provides PE3 equivalent Ethernet LAN adapter functionality for DOS and Windows combined with a fully featured V.32bis modem. The PEM is available in two models, the PEM-10BT(for the 10BASE-T twisted pair with RJ-45 connector) and the PEM-10B2(for the 10BASE-2 thin Coax with BNC connector).
