Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] FR on vol 3 lab 3 Troubleshooting

Hi All,

Troubleshooting part of vol3 lab3. I have checked configurations for R5 and R6
and it looks good to me but two routers cannot communicate. It looks that the
layer 2 does not work as expected.

R6#
interface Serial0/1/0
  ip address 223.5.6.6 255.255.255.224
  ip pim bsr-border
  ip pim sparse-mode
  encapsulation frame-relay
  ip ospf network point-to-point
  ip ospf 1 area 569
  frame-relay map ip 223.5.6.5 605 broadcast
  frame-relay map ip 223.5.6.6 605
  no frame-relay inverse-arp
  frame-relay lmi-type cisco
end

R6(config-if)#do show frame map
Serial0/1/0 (up): ip 223.5.6.6 dlci 605(0x25D,0x94D0), static,
               broadcast,
               CISCO, status deleted
Serial0/1/0 (up): ip 223.5.6.5 dlci 605(0x25D,0x94D0), static,
               CISCO, status deleted

R5

interface Serial0/1/0
  no ip address
  encapsulation frame-relay
  no frame-relay inverse-arp
  frame-relay lmi-type cisco
interface Serial0/1/0.56 point-to-point
  ip address 223.5.6.5 255.255.255.224
  ip pim bsr-border
  ip ospf network point-to-point
  ip ospf 1 area 569
  snmp trap link-status
  frame-relay interface-dlci 506

R5#show frame map
Serial0/1/0.56 (down): point-to-point dlci, dlci 506(0x1FA,0x7CA0), broadcast
           status deleted
R5#
R5#

Is there anything wrong with that config?

Regards
Lukasz
