Yes, it looks the same. Looking closer, though, here's what I see. Let's start 
with the log that shows that the correct command is being sent to the client.

Now look what happens only 1ms later, so, really, it's a consequence of having 
sent the command to the client.

   2016-07-30@23:00:09.304 [server-main] server: releasing tty 0000000000
   2016-07-30@23:00:09.305 [server-main] server: closing connection on fd 22

The connection is being immediately dropped. Your test program must be 
receiving an error of some kind.
