I’ll respond to the rest of this excellent thread once I’ve slept, but I wanted to nudge this: holy _cow_ y’all are tolerant of my corrections and amendments, even when I’ve dug the hole for myself. Thank you. If we can avoid any more mechanics that (a) only work if they’re done absolutely perfectly, and (b) create extensive dependency chains by their very nature that would be wonderful. The fix to FV to allow incorrect values to succeed once helps, a bit, but I’ve inadvertently created the same problem in the current passive income rules. If we repeal that in favour of a flat passive income, I’ll suddenly have a lot more free time. -o
