I do miss christmas carols and school christmas programs. none of my 4 had the bid deal christmas programs like i had when i was a kid. Stores dont really seem to have the christmas music anymore, they dont even hardly decorate. I dont know if it was just cause i was little and it all seemed bigger, but it seems there is no jovial spirit of the holiday season left anymore. Even the bell ringers begging dont have a jolly air about them, they just look cold and miserable. Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Dean, Sammy, all of them kept the dream alive.
