There would be the difference between colliding with an "almost" immovable object (wall) versus colliding with a vehicle that has some semblance of a crush zone. I don't know how much that difference would be.

Yes I would rather have a collision with another car at the difference in speed than the combined speed of the two….

Huh….never heard them called Jersey Barriers before.

Apparently the slope on the bottom is to make your tires ride up so you redirect back into your own lane (though possibly flipped over) whereas a flat wall might make you flip into the oncoming lane.
