I have a server room that has a Symmetra PX 20kw that I inherited. On
the 25th it reported that 2 of the 3 10kw Power modules went bad. I
ordered 2 new 10kw power units, and when i put them in, now all 3 power
modules are report 'Off & OK' with a green check mark. They battery
system is reporting 'OK' but I'm wondering if the batteries might be
causing a problem. Will the power modules not start if the batteries are
bad? There is about 9kw of load on the UPS.
The battery system says Nominal voltage is 192v, but actual voltage is
154v. When we measure each pack it's at 96v. and 2x96 should be 192,
so it must need a minimum of 2 packs to work.
