Oh, wait... I just realized he said *PTP* 450i... if that's the case, that changes things (that would be the same hardware, physically, as the 900mhz 450i SM). The 900mhz PMP450i SM does have the old 6 pin connector on it, but I don't remember if that's usable for sync or not.. you might need sync over power.
If it is actually a PMP450i AP, then yeah, the simplest thing for a single AP is to just get the AUX port Syncbox Junior and be done with it.
