Hi, Michael,

As matter of fact, we are dealing with this problem right now, the smart
data center transformation cost a lot of money and additional power
consumptions because of those additional sensors. So, yes, we are looking for
such technologies that can reduce power consumption in this scenario, and we'd
like to verify and implement this solution in our data center for improvement.
Furthermore, we have some engineers also work on this kind of technique issue,
therefore, we hope NSA can enlighten us in some way, and help solve this
problem.

Thanks

This is a reasonable use case, thank you.
Are you planning to build and/or buy products like this?
If wired, you need at least three physical ports to make a tree :-)

The ability for installers to just wire these sensors together in any topology
and have them work is definitely a win.
