They are. They're based on the Marvell 88sx6081, which is indeed
supported - it's actually the same controller as in the Areca cards,
and it's also used in the Thumpers.
I still don't see them in the HCL. *Very* frustrating.
After getting burned nicely back in the 2.6 days, I don't even go
shopping until I find it in the HCL.
Hmm, I just realized I'm describing the highpoint 2340:

supported under Solaris. Perhaps I can find someone to boot Belenix
and let me know if it works.
Is the HighPoint 2320 supported? (again, can't find -that- in the HCL,
either!) That's half the price of the Areca.
