Hello Hussein, I missed your answer to the question below in your earlier email. Please don't bother answering the same question again.

In the event that the topics are on a remote server or being accessed through a v-drive plugin, does XMLmind need to open every single topic in order to be able to get the titles or is there a more effective way of querying the topic set and populating the titles? We stopped recommending the use of the Navigation Pane for large documents because of the time needed to download all the topics from the CCMS and resolve all the topic titles; will the default ditamap view now have the same issue for my user group? Thanks, Jeff. -----Original Message----- From: xmleditor-support-boun...@xmlmind.com [mailto:xmleditor-support-boun...@xmlmind.com] On Behalf Of Hussein Shafie Sent: Monday, July 4, 2016 11:42 PM To: n...@kbss27.be Cc: 'xmleditor-support@xmlmind.com' Subject: Re: [XXE] Navigation pane EXTERNAL EMAIL On 07/05/2016 08:11 AM, n...@kbss27.be wrote: > Hm. Just like the Navigation pane, the map displays the titles of the topics and also double-clicking a topic title opens/selects this topic. This is what I always do myself. I almost never used the Navigation pane to do this. However, it's true that in the map, topic titles are not numbered. Therefore please tell your reviewers to refer to the topic title: "Hey, we need to update something in 'Troubleshooting'". -- XMLmind XML Editor Support List xmleditor-support@xmlmind.com http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/xmleditor-support -- XMLmind XML Editor Support List xmleditor-support@xmlmind.com http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/xmleditor-support
