I have just tagged the beta3. Actually, make dist-bzip2 is producing a bad 
dist file but I have already fixed it on my dev machine but svn gna server is 
down ... So I'll try latter.

Anyway, people can still push bug fix, I will release the tar.bz2 tomorrow or 
later.

   - New maps : hive, moon-4m, pillars, tic-tac-toe, towers, funkyisland
   - Monkey-bubble music for monkey-bubble map
   - Some graphics improvements (map previews, skins,...)
   - Enhanced skins : character breathing, new animation while charaters are 
iddle etc
   - Characters' eyes follow cursor
   - Add new sounds
   - Updated translations

Still experimental :
   - Better AI (but still stupid)
   - Improved random level generator

Remaining bug :

High priority :
- desync of bonus box : almost finished. bug #10232 : Game got stuck/no one's 
turn in a local game
- bug in horizontal, vertical and 45° fading lines.

Compilation status :
  * (K)ubuntu 7.04, 7.10 : trunk (3492) is compiling (drayan report)
  * Fedora ?
  * Mandriva 2007 spring (2007.1) : trunk is fine (drayan)
  * Debian unstable : work great with svn trunk version (report by deki)
  * SuSE ?
  * Other flavour of Linux, BSD ? Opensolaris ???
  Windows : deki report he can do the binary with mingw and the port is 
working (31/10/2007). Vista works fine (reported by Kurosu) and also 95 and 
98 !
  Mac-Intel : svn r3471 works fine (reported by Kurosu). Kurosu will release 
a binary for the RC or final version. He also reported that we need to compile 
an SVN version of SDL in order to increase stability.


Road map :
november 9 : tagging beta3. done
november 11 : releasing beta3. Now only bug fix.

We need to organize sessions before tagging RC in order to fix the biggest 
remaining issue with networking

november 23 : tagging RC.
november 25 : RC release

String freeze. Call for translation. Only bugfix on network.

december 7 : tag final release (0.8.0).
december 9 : releasing final.
