Well, of course "O'Brien's own ratings performance in the 'Tonight Show'
time slot has been very disappointing." Low Leno ratings --> lower local
news ratings --> lower "Tonight Show" ratings. Though it's worth noting that
Conan has the numbers that count: on Friday, he outdrew Letterman in the
18-49 demo by about 50%.
