DaVinci is already syndicated in the US. ABC7 is DC airs it on weekends in the
overnight.

There are a couple of decent dramas from Canuckistan they could pick up. Da
Vanci, Blue Murder... "Intelligence" is supposed to be outstanding, from what
I've heard.

Another possibility: Moving "Friday Night Lights" up from the summer
replacement roster, or would NBC have to wait until the DirecTV run is done?
It's more an 8 or 9 p.m. show, but if you're reshuffling the deck, it gives NBC
a few more options. And there's always "Deal or No Deal" (You tune in for the
cleavage! You keep watching for the stories!)

Put all flavors of L&O on at 10 and Dateline too and you have the week covered.
Practically anything will score better then Leno.   The challenge, is a market
such as Baltimore, has the audience been lost permanently?

Although he wasn't given much of a chance, Conan was finishing third in a
timeslot Jay was easily winning.  If Jay comes back and starts winning 1130
again (along with his great relationship with the affiliates), he'll have done
more than Jeff Zucker ever has...

My question is, how indiscriminate is the audience in markets where the
performance of the local news is primarily determined by its lead-in?
