When I use the word 'upgrade', I'm simply referring to running a new MSI that is installing the same service (re-installing). Does it matter if I haven't changed the version number?
The verbose log doesn't seem to give much more information, it fails with 1923 on the line after "Executing op: Service install". I did search up through the log from that point and didn't find any mention of an "uninstall"... is there something I need to do explicitly to get the installer to remove the previous version of the service first? Thanks, I appreciate the help. Matthew On Thu, Mar 24, 2011 at 4:57 PM, Chad Petersen <chad.peter...@harlandfs.com>wrote: > Is this a major upgrade or a minor upgrade?
