Dear Jayantilal, Let's call a spade a spade -- the court case is filed by a propaganda news site that wants names of Wikimedians when it's a clear violation of their privacy, a fundamental right guaranteed to every citizen by the constitution.
Asking any staffer (there are over 700 of them) is never useful when WMF has a dedicated Trust and Safety team ( https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation/Legal/Community_Resilience_and_Sustainability/Trust_and_Safety). *Have you written to them asking specific questions?* I'm going to assume that WMF's counsels are looking into this seriously as they constantly monitor such issues and this is discussed on many national media in India. I really wonder how writing to WMF via a bunch ot community mailing lists, that's completely managed by volunteer Wikimedians, would help. At best, this is sensationalist. Also, can any WMF staffer who is not directly a part of T&S or legal team know answers to legal and safety questions?
