We can and should integrate this in admin but the challange is updating binaries and updating without third party tools.
This requires a service that can serve on demand: welcome.w2p, admin.w2p, examples.w2p, gluon.tar (for binary distribution), site- packages.zip (for the osx distribution) and library.zip (for the windows distribution). In this was upgrading would consist of simply downloading the proper file and unzipping it in the proper place. It is actually easy to do, just a little pedantic. It will not be in 1.62 but it can reasonably be in 1.63 or 1.64.
