I would suggest that this would be integrated into the admin: If the sentence on the right would read: "web2py is out of date" there should be two Buttons "upgrade web2py to the current stable" and "upgrade web2py to the latest trunk" web2py would then perform an upgrade using the mentioned script. What to you think?
