Ya know, at some point this madness has got to stop... Personally im going to use what ever 3rd party sortware i want too, regardless.
Its my pc, and my software.. i paid for both. Just as i wont be restricted by their rules if i use a 'Microsoft development tool' ( see the beta ,net EULA ). Its my code.. to do with as I please. Technically, from the below paragraph it sounds like it's legal if you have two XP licenses -- one for the computer running XP, one for the one displaying it. So, for example, viewing an XP desktop from another XP machine would be legal, but viewing an XP desktop from a Linux machine would not -- unless you bought a second XP license. - -----Original Message----- From: Tim Waugh [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, December 10, 2001 8:03 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Timeout Problem with XP - illegal??
