As far as finding which tcp ports are accessable, I have seen two programs which might be of assistance:
firewalk: http://www.packetfactory.net/firewalk/ and tcptraceroute: http://michael.toren.net/code/tcptraceroute/ I haven't actually tried either, the former is beyond what I neded, and the latter wont compile on Red hat 6.1 (it can't yacc my bison, or some such nonsense). Either should allow you to see what tcp packets get through, and who is in between. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
