Hector, you yourself must determine what your use of VNC could possibly be.

My needs are not going to be the same as your possible needs. People
would need to know what your work is all about to be able to suggest
specific roles for VNC for you.

If you can find someone with the time to spoon feed you with
information, that's great.

Life here is like any where else in that no one has written a doc or
FAQ tailored to your specific needs. You can learn about VNC a little
at a time, reading the various sources. Just following along on the
list will let you see how other people are using VNC. You will learn
this by their questions. No, your knowledge will not happen
instantly. It will take time. Weeks, months.

If you have a need that VNC would meet, you would recognize quickly
what VNC can do for you. If you do not have such a need,

Do you need to control a computer/server remotely from your cube at
work, from home, from the road with a laptop? We even use VNC
in-house to avoid having to run around the floor or building.

Stick around, read and like a puzzle, the pieces will fall into place
over time.
