the official stable release has no tight encoder.

I have to admit that I prefer the non_installer versions. Makes it easier to
auto-install.

I'll do. What would be really cool, is disabling the wallpaper (yes, we
mainly have windows platforms :(). Do all those contributions perhaps one
day flow together into one release? for example, I could use the wallpaper
feature and the tight encoder, and I don't have a _clue_ about C and
compiling (besides the usual ./configure make stuff).
