Thanks Richard but is there a different gesture we can use for answering
the phone and not using earphones?

I went into settings, accessibility, VoiceOver, Commands, and turned
off Magic tap fork media, so now it works to answer the phone without
starting music playing.
This is a 16 pro running iOS 26.
Earphones can still answer by tapping the button too.
Certain earphones, I suspect by Apple, and maybe others you can tell
Siri to answer.

Hi folk,
I disabled the two-finger double tap action for answering a call as
it use often startt music playing so anyone using a different gesture
for the phone instead?
I can fined the 'answer a call' button on the phone but I reckon a
gesture whereby I can double tap on the screen would be
preferable/quicker.
Thanks,
Tony
