Are you using spamd/c? If not, the install shouldn't take much more than 10-15 minutes. Depending on installation of dependencies and config setup if you are using SQL to store bayes and user_prefs. At least that's what it takes me installing into ActiveState Perl v5.8.7.815 from scratch. I've just had to unpack the .zip archive, run 'Makefile.PL', run 'nmake' and finally 'nmake install'. > Re, > Clay >>>> On 1/6/2006 at 8:49:03 am, in message <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, > Jim Maul > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> Jeff Peng wrote: >>> Hi,Lists, >>> >>> I'm new to SpamAssassin. How about SA's TOP capability on antispam? > Can I >>> use it instead of some commercian antispam products? Thanks. >>> >>> >> >> Considering a lot of commercial products use SA to do their work, i > dont >> see any reason why you could not use it instead of some commercial > offering. >> >> -Jim -- "This message is made of 100% recycled electrons."
