Considering a lot of commercial products use SA to do their work, i

see any reason why you could not use it instead of some commercial
offering.

RPM's exist for most versions of SA, however, you are still required to
get the dependencies resolved. This isn't an issue that is tied just to
SA, even apps deployed with 'windows installer' on windows have deps
that need to be resolved first.
