The book comes in four bindings, and I have you jump from one to another every 
other sentence. Just so you feel on familiar ground.

Just kidding…

The book is a beginner's guide, and follows a format that Packt have built up 
over the years. At some point I'll post a message that shows the whole outline 
of the chapters, but for the moment I just wanted to say that the chapter which 
covers the standalone application settings isn't in the same "follow-along" 
style as the other chapters. It's more of a reference, and the settings part 
takes 11 pages (which includes several screenshots).
