I have tested kernel version 3.6.10 in the past and this did not solve the problem for me. I think I have tested most of the versions between 3.0 and 3.8 with no luck :-( I have a total freeze every two days and I search the internet every day for any hints.
One thing I figured out some days ago was that ater the freeze I can switch-off/on my laptop display with the function key (fn+F9). But this seems to be the only thing which still works - strange....? My theory is that the freeze depends on the powermanagement and the situaton when the battery is full charged. But I see that also some desktop users have the same freeze so my theory is not relay strong. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993187 Title: ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.
