Hello, Robin. I had the same experience where Skype worked perfectly under XP, but didn't transmit sound properly under Linux. I tried the beta at Chris's suggestion, and I'm using the statically linked Skype 1.4 beta now: http://www.skype.com/go/getskype-linux-static This works fine under Ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS :-) Best wishes, Tony. -- Dr. A.J.Travis, | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Rowett Research Institute, | http://www.rri.sari.ac.uk/~ajt Greenburn Road, Bucksburn, | phone:+44 (0)1224 712751 Aberdeen AB21 9SB, Scotland, UK. | fax:+44 (0)1224 716687 -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.kubuntu.org/UKTeam/
